Many ACT residents are already able to participate in the NDIS, and the ACT will be the very first location to achieve full rollout! To find out if the NDIS is for you contact the ACT Trial Site Team by calling 1800 800 110 and asking to speak to the ACT Trial Site or email Braddon@ndis.gov.au.

YMCA Community PrYme Movers Initiative
As part of our Community PrYme Movers Initiative, we offer various PrYme Mover classes across 14 different locations around Canberra.
PrYme Mover classes cater for a broad range of abilities and fitness levels that are friendly, fun and engaging and will provide a challenge that makes without being too pushy or confronting. If you haven't participated in formal exercise for a long time, don't worry your instructor will help you to work only within your capacity.
Our classes have different focus areas such as cardiovascular health, strengthening, balance and core stability. We also run classes tailored to people who are living with mobility limitations or chronic illness.
In most of our locations, there is an opportunity for participants to linger after class for a cuppa and a chat at a local coffee shop. Many of our participants take advantage of this social opportunity. Anyone 50 years or over can get involved. The only requirement for participation in our PrYme mover programs is your age and a willingness to give it a go.
