WHAT IS IT?
The Thredbo Fun and Fitness Week is a fantastic summer holiday option for families and friends. The week is held at the Thredbo Alpine Village within Kosciuszko National Park. The program of events runs over eight days and promises to deliver something for everyone:
Experienced Runners – Test yourself at altitude!
1. The Kosciuszko Classic – a 5 km race to the top of Mt Kosciuszko
2. Crackenback Challenge – 2 km with a 600-metre climb
Fun Runner – this week offers some different fun runs which are perfect for running or walking and are held throughout the week.
Get into the mountain spirit with Mixed Relays, Sprints, Grand Slam Tennis, Golf Competitions, the Trivia Quiz, the Aquathon and more.

Runners can register on the day for the Crackenback Challenge and the Kosciusko Challenge. For all other activities, you need to register with the organisers and obtain an activities pass. This covers entries to all events as well as access to the swimming pool, chairlift rides, golf at any time and bobsled rides. Those who are not YCRC members also need to obtain a YCRC Thredbo membership which is $10 a single or $20 for a family.
