YMCA Canberra believes that regular physical activity in children of all ages is an essential component of learning and development.

With the ever increasing overweight and obesity pattern of Australians, with its many adverse health and social outcomes, it is our responsibility to give kids the best start we can.

 Physi-Kids is a range of fun physical activity programs designed for children aged from 3 months to 5 years. These programs help children to build motor skills, spatial awareness and coordination as well as providing social and group interaction.

 All programs are designed and delivered by supportive, qualified staff who value sharing the benefits of a healthy mind, body and spirit with children.

A responsible adult must accompany each child to the Physi-Kids classes. This is a special opportunity for a parent, or another adult significant in the child's life, to work closely with a child to help them learn, discover and achieve.
