YMCA Canberra has a number of offsite exercise programs in both the north and south side of Canberra.  The programs are targeted to people over the age of 50+ with a number of different classes for a variety of needs.  YMCA’s Ever Active class is one of the more popular providing participants with traditional exercise routines for individuals ranging for physically able and active to those with some limitation.  If that’s not for you we also offer a number of Tai Chi and Yoga classes.  You can get all kinds of people from all walks of life coming into these programs to feel a sense of purpose and connection with others.  Our instructors love what they do and it shows with quality of class they deliver.

The Pearce Community Centre is a prime example of one of our more popular classes and the positive impact it has in the community.  Our instructor Jenny has been running this program for a number of years and has a strong following of participants that come to her sessions each week. Not only is she a great instructor, but she knows every individual‘s story seeing the value and importance of being connected with them.
