Club Racing
Click Here for our 2020-2021 Club Racing Calendar
Club racing for the YMCASC occurs on Saturdays throughout the spring, summer and into the autumn, this is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. We have full canteen facilities and quality racing run by members and volunteers. We race many off-the-beach dinghy and catamaran classes with all levels of experience catered for, from beginner to national champions.
Racing starts at 2pm, this allows participants to come down, have some lunch and socialise before and after racing. Results are provided after racing and prizes awarded to the winners. We are a very family oriented club so come down and enjoy the fun.
Contact us at sailing.club@ymca.org or 0407 262 975 if you want to know more about Saturday club racing and how to get involved.
Reciprocal Race Fees
The Canberra Yacht Club and the YMCA of Canberra Sailing Club have entered into an agreement (click here) whereby members of each club can, by paying a reciprocal race fee of $100, race with the other club. Note that this is not a membership and does not entitle sailors paying this fee with membership privileges with the other club. For information casual race fees for the YMCA of Canberra Sailing Club are $20 per day.
