Vacation Care
The Y Canberra Region offers Vacation Care Programs where children are encouraged to play and have fun in a safe and stimulating environment. Our programs enable children to interact with nature, explore scientific experiments, participate in sport orientated activities, play and explore.
The Y’s Vacation Care programs run at various locations across the Canberra and NSW regions, and are open from 8am – 6pm during operating weeks (excluding public holidays).

Please note, bookings for children that require additional support need to be received by our Customer Care Team by March 28th, 2024.
The following schools will run a Vacation Care Day for the Pupil Free Day on Monday 29th April:
Sacred Heart, South Queanbeyan and Bungendore.
This day will be $90
The cost per day is dependent on the scheduled daily activities.
Vacation Care daily fees vary from $90 – $120, depending on the day’s activities. This fee is less if eligible for CCS.
The cost for each day can be found in the location’s program.
The daily cost includes all activities associated with the day and where transport is required it is provided by a charter bus.
We take enrolments online through a My Family Lounge account.
For existing families using My Family Lounge, simply click on Casual Bookings and select the Vacation Care days needed.
For those families who wish to utilise a Vacation Care Service that they have not attended recently please call our Customer Care Team on 6242 4040 for activation.
If your child has Asthma, Anaphylaxis or requires medication to be administered while attending the service, an Authority to Give Medication Form will need to be completed.
