YMCA Canberra offers After School Care (ASC) for primary school children across Canberra. Our OSHC services provide children with opportunities to learn and develop new skills and interests in a caring and supportive environment.
All services are Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Approved. Enrolments are accepted on a permanent and a casual basis for After School Care. All After School Care services operate Monday to Friday during school terms from the end of the school day until 6.00pm. A light and healthy afternoon snack is provided for all children attending and this is included in the fees.
We take enrolments online through My Family Lounge (MFL). You can use this portal to start the enrolment process for After School Care.

Step 1 – Register
If you are new to our services and don’t have a My Family Lounge Account (MFL) – you will need to register here.
After registering you will receive a Complete Registration email. To complete the registration process, create and confirm a password, accept the Terms and Conditions when ready, then press Complete Registration.
Step 2 – Create your profile
Once you’ve registered, sign in and enter details for all mandatory fields including your name, relationship to the child and at least one phone number and address details.
Add your child’s details and choose one of the 3 options.
Step 3 – Make a Booking
Choose the Service Type required, Service Name, days and preferred start date. An email is automatically sent to us to inform that you have submitted a booking request. You will be able to see the status of your request on your MFL portal.
If we have availability we will contact you with an offer (by email) and ask for you to accept this. The offer will only be held for you for a short time. If you accept the offer, you will log back into MFL and accept - you will then complete the Enrolment Form, noting that fields marked red * are mandatory. Action Plans, Diagnoses and Court Orders can be uploaded. Immunisation Records or Exemptions can also be uploaded. Once all questions and information required is completed, select the submit button. Your child is now enrolled.
If you need to update contacts, family or other details, including requests for additional days or changes to days, please log back into My Family Lounge. All information entered by you into your My Family Lounge account flows through to the YMCA Childrens Services Head Office.
